My name is Roy Honjo. My wife Angie and I are the Directors of The Father’s Heart Ministries based in Panama City, Florida. Our other board members, Gary and Julie Simons are based in Waikoloa, on the Big Island of Hawaii, USA. The Father’s Heart Ministries was born out of a Word of Prophecy many years ago and had influenced us to serve in our ministry in Kenya and the other nations of Africa.
From the first time I met Brother Timothy in Malaba, Kenya, I knew that our Lord had brought us together for a very special purpose. I felt a bond with Brother Timothy that only true brothers could have. I have watched him weep for the people of his congregation, community and nation.
During our ministry time over the past several years, I have come to know Brother Timothy on a more personal basis. I spent many hours driving with him from town to town, walking from village to village and knocking on door to door to reach people and spread the Good News. In those many hours, we have shared each other’s lives and shared our love for our Savior, Jesus Christ. From the outside, many see a hard man but as our Lord has bonded us together, I have been able to see the true heart of a God-fearing believer. I trust Brother Timothy with my life and the lives of my family when we are with him doing ministry.
It is said that behind every great man, there is a great woman. Sister Florence personifies that saying. She has one of the most open and loving hearts that I have known. She is the soft and balancing side of Covenant Christian Centre. Sister Florence’s care and love for their ministry is very much evident in the growth and respect of the congregation of Covenant Christan Centre.
Although The Father’s Heart Ministries is half way around the world, we maintain regular contact and support Covenant Christian Centre as an integral partner in the Lord’s Kingdom and plans.
